Traveling as Couple
you had to pay for ice!
This hotel/motel chain is unsatisfactory on all levels. The staff is like bad cab drivers; barely speak English and very unaccommodating. The worst thing about this motel is that they claim amenities and then don't provide them. They say the pool is open when you call to confirm and then you get there and it's closed! That's upsetting! Also it advertises that you get a free paper, and then I want a free paper! The clerk laughed when I asked for my paper! This motel is barely livable and is only good for the price if you get there late and leave early! i.e. Business travel! The hotel was completely adequate. We got a smoking room and the carpet wasn't super clean, but otherwise it was OK. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was actually quite nice. The location is good and the price is right. ...read more
